Rather than Elite, Sophie is actually known for designing the instruction set for the Acorn RISC Machine chip. A chip that running at 4MHz, blew the doors off the Intel 80186 and 80286 chips that Intel was peddling.

ARM chips now run at 200MHz+ and there's one in every iPhone, Nintendo DS, and many many many other devices.

I was at Bletchley Park only last week and am looking forward to returning to go to this festival. The great thing about the tickets is that they are season tickets, so you get access to all of Bletchley park for the next 12 months!
